In the beginning

Born and raised in Bushbuckridge, Hluvukani, a Law graduate student from the University of Limpopo, student professional chef at Singita Private game reserve, Crowned MR Mpumalanga Best styled Man 2019 MR SA Semi-finalist 2020 and founder of Mr & Miss Hluvukani

My parents died when I was 4 years old. My mother was living with an Albinism disorder and my father is originally from Mozambique. I was told that my father named me "Matimba" because they have seen God's power during my birth. My mother delivered me at home on her own without assistance which is quite risky.

My mother gave me a second name "Mokgetwa" which means the chosen one. This simply meant that out of all her children I am the chosen and the life I am living today has given so much more to the meaning of the name because out of 8 siblings, none of them has managed to matriculate. I am the first one to finish matric, graduate, be on radio,

TV and follow my dreams.
